I am confused. I heard when you start a channel to not ask everyone you know because the algorithm gets confused by looking at what all those subscribers like and that the common thread is not existent so it doesnt know the niche to put you in. Because the common thread is those subscribers know you not they they all like crafting or whatever. I have always heard grow it naturally and it takes longer but the algorithm puts your videos in front of viewers who are interested in your content and at the long haul you will grow a better and bigger audiance.. Has that changed?
