Hey there I am Sarah (aka Ted). My goal is to help new entrepreneurs grow & scale a business that is right for THEM!
Yes – the business that is right for THEM. Because I believe that time is the most valuable thing we have, and that we should spend it doing things that we love: and what I love may be different to what you love. Which is why on this channel I share:
* Examples & case studies of businesses that I enjoy (such as Print On Demand ecommerce businesses) and sharing my tips & strategies I've learned along the way.
* Examples & case studies of other businesses that entrepreneurs love running (even if I personally wouldn't find it fun myself!)
* Plus a sprinkle of entrepreneurial motivation thrown in too!
I hope my actionable content can help you: whether you're running your own online business, or are in the process of building one, and want some tactical advice to help you along the way. If that is you, subscribe today! 🔥

Bonus freebie: in addition to getting my free ebook, you can also get my eternal gratitude for free by giving this video a like! ❤️ Thank you for your support 🙏
How do I get this free e book?
@Joseph Charrierlink is in the video description. If I post the link in my comments, it will probably get deleted since YT tends to delete comments with links as lots of spammers spam youtube!
@Wholesale Tedanother great video, thank you as always 😊
Yay! ❤
Thank you for all the information as always ❤
Hi Sarah. Thanks for the video tips. I’m getting started on Etsy and I noticed that tshirts are selling for like $8-10. How do you make money selling Bella Canva tshirts when the competition is selling their designs so cheaply?
Don’t sell your t-shirts for $8-10. Well designed t-shirts can sell for $18+ easily on Etsy. People undersell themselves, but that doesn’t mean you have to! I believe in this video I show examples of stores that price their shirts a reasonable prices. You can go and check out them out for inspiration on how to position yourself in the market: https://youtu.be/M57ToY7JfMI
Sarah is SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL AND ADORABLE she’s *CUTE CUTE CUTE* 🤗
A lot do price baiting by putting the price of their extra small shirt without shipping and in a single, specific color as the cost. But if you look at the variations, other sizes and colors are more costly and then you have to add shipping as well.
Thanks Sarah.
Absorbing stuff! 👍
Ok. So, here’s my question. I’m using Canva to create my own designs for shirts, mugs, etc., etc. Is it worth it to put them on Etsy, or should I stick with Spreadshirt?
Speadshirt has a lot less traffic than Etsy. You can make a lot more money on Etsy, than Speadshirt!
@Wholesale Ted Ok. Thank you so much. All of my designs currently have a square backgound, not a transparent background. Will that hurt my sales?
I’m happy to make money online as long it as it doesn’t involve paypal, if you can just add your bank details to the website and get paid directly to your bank account, I’d find that WAY EASIER
Etsy does actually do that, they pay directly into your bank account the money you earn.
@Wholesale Ted Good coz I have someone on Fiverr who be setting it all up for me. Tnx for the reply
How do you know if the photos are good enough to be blown up into posters without being blurry?
When you upload a photo to a POD product, it will tell you if it’s in high definition or not, but basically, for it to print sharp it needs to be in 300 DPI which many photos uploaded to websites like Pixabay are 🌞
@Wholesale Ted thank you for your speedy reply and your broadcasts. You really are the best YouTubers for beginners x
Hey Sarah,
First, thank u so much for everything 🔥
Second, can u please tell us where can we get free and non copyrighted mock-ups for Etsy ?
Do u have a video already breaking down how to make a listing that is a 3-9 pack of framed artwork? Is this something thats easy to create? I get the concept of breaking the image up into multiple images for a custom pack of wall art, however not sure how to actually create the listing itself when syncing it up in etsy with ny pod shop. Or do places like printful etc. have a wall art selection already set to choose for making these set of 3, 6 or 9 (or however many) wall hangings? Perhaps this is a dumv question and i cpuld figure it out once playing around on the computer but figured id ask regardless because ive wondered this in the past when it comes to making lets say, tshirt pavks (u know one for the mum and one for the child type of thing).
For the multi-pack, you’ll need to order that manually for a customer using Printify’s custom order feature. But it honestly takes 2 minutes to do so. During covid, I would often have to do manual orders for customers for a new print shop if a supplier I had connected to auto-fulfill got locked down and had their print shop closed. I got very very fast at it!
@Wholesale Ted ah yes of course….I can’t believe I didn’t think of that, total mental block on part. Thank you!!! 🌟
Awesome content as usual. I am currently stuck in a rut where I need to find a side hustle desperately. I take care of my 83yo mom and because I take care of her I am so scared when she passes away, I would not be able to pay for the bits her pension covers. I currently cover 80% of our living expenses and everything that comes with it. This has been my life for 10 years and yes, 10 years ago it was a different story, no issues. I am in permanent lockdown. I have no pension, I am 45 yo and need an exit plan for when the inevitable happens.
Permanent lockdown? 😮 How come?
same
This was a really inspiring video, I do have one question: Even on the images that are uploaded earlier than 2019 it says (when clicking on the “license” under the image):
“You cannot sell or distribute Content (either in digital or physical form) on a Standalone basis. Standalone means where no creative effort has been applied to the Content and it remains in substantially the same form as it exists on our website.” Is this just them slapping a standard wordsalad on all items? Or else it seems it’s not allowed to use without substantial changes to the images…I’m a bit confused.
They purposefully confuse people by placing a link to their content license on every page. Most people think (understandably) that it means that the content license applies to all of the photos on the website. It’s not true, but they know that they are implying it, and they want you to think that, is my guess. You can read more on the Pixabay Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pixabay
@Wholesale Ted Thank you!!
Easy peasy! how did you come up with the trending niches in the first place? Thank you!
She mentioned ALURA I think this was for Etsy search
To be honest, I spend so much time on Etsy that I just know them without having to research them!
Great video! What is your advice for selling your own photos on Etsy? Copyrighting is a given. Anything else?
Nothing really I can think of: but yes, but merely creating the photo, you instantly own the copyright to it – no registration required!
@Wholesale Ted this is the one thing that made me second guess (& then not even start) print on demand a couple years ago.. I just didn’t know how to protect my work (I’m an artist/animator) have you ever had people stealing your designs.. And what’s a good way to stop them? & Keep it from happening in the first place? (I’m sorry if your already made a video on this!) It seems like it would be a huge hassle to track everyone down & send them cease & desist letters 😩
Another golden nugget of an opportunity! Sarah, do you have a favorite POD supplier for posters and framed prints? I need to get started on this asap and would appreciate a tip for the best quality supplier(s). Thanks!
I haven’t tested out the different POD suppliers for posters/prints from Printify myself (I use Printful) however, many people have great experiences. Put each print shop into Google Maps & check out reviews from their local customers to narrow down the choices 🙂
Question: I’ve noticed A LOT if not all the Etsy listings I’ve looked up in my research say handmade. And I really think some r print on demand. What is the right way to list a print on demand product??
No no no. When you make a listing with a POD app like Printify, it is classified as a handmade listing 🙂
@Wholesale Ted ok great. Thanks! I wanted to start a shop but that threw me and I didn’t want to list st wrong
Love your videos. Do you have a video on how to upload listings quickly in this poster/prints niche? also how to start a new etsy store to generate sales quickly without getting shut down by etsy?
Great video… thank you!!
can we you reuse images from pexels wesite as well for wall art ??
Hi Sarah, please can you you make a video on how you can make all sizes of POD wall art if you are using the free Canva account. Thank you
Hi, You have very useful videos. I already wanted to apply your method and start selling photos on etsy, but I am in Ukraine 🇺🇦, and here etsy stopped working, it seems, from the beginning of 2021. Could you choose online earning methods that are available in Ukraine, or that are available all over the world, and make a video about it? If you have time and inspiration for it. In any case, thank you very much for your videos and your storytelling style🌷🙂. I wish your channel development!🌅
