Oh my gosh, you are my queen! I have been watching your videos like almost non-stop for days now. I truly think you are not only amazing, but super inspiring and I really believe that you care about the success of other people, which is super kind and wonderful for a real entrepreneur. Well, I may not be young anymore because I was always taught to go to school, get a job, work hard and “you will foster.” But I still struggle. I was taught different things from my father from an early age so I was lucky and didn’t get put on that pathway, but most people do, and so it takes so much courage to move beyond that and do something different 🙏

I’ve read in another comment that it’s not visible on the new photo editior so you have to switch to the old one.

Your channel has grown so much, since I first started watching. It is a blessing to “beginners” who can’t afford to get “top notch” equipment or editing software. Or, buy subscriptions to the majority of the software needed to do a professional looking video etc… Keep them HACKS coming. You definitely found your calling in life. I’m very confused about Red Bubble’s mug pixels for print-on-demand.
They suggest we need to create 2-sided designs using: Standard Mug – 2700×1120 pixels
BUT when I right click the resolution on that is only 96 DPI. You need 300 DPI resolution for printing quality.
Even when I try to download the Canva art work sizing up times 3.125, which should give me 300 DPI, it still shows as 96 DPI on file properties (I even opend In Paint to check resolution). This is just text design but others will have images. What am I missing?
I’m honestly not sure, it works well for me & for others. There will be something that you’re doing differently, I recommend reaching out to Canva’s support team.
@Wholesale Ted The 3.125 download functions properly but only when you double check the design image properties, it still says 96 DPI.
I read Canva uses RGB colors by default, and unfortunately, it does not have a feature to change colors to CMYK 1 which is what print-on-demand printers recommend for printed goods where RGB is best for web. Red Bubble recommends designing your work in the CMYK color profile and then converting the finished work into the RGB color profile before uploading.
POD apps such as Printfil/Printify require you upload in sRGB because they convert it with their own printers into CMYK, so this isn’t actually an issue anyway 🙂
Thanks for sharing these hacks! The scalable vector graphics vs traditional graphics explanation was spot on. Talking about tools, I’ve recently come across boost app social, and it’s been great for creating unique content for social media platforms. Makes content creation a breeze!
