    1. Hi. What is the best traffic source? Just about to finish my store but will need the traffic soon. Thank you!

    2. There is no “best” traffic source per-say. They each have their own pros/cons. The most scaleable traffic source though has to be Facebook ads.

    3. Got a few questions. First though, thanks for all the great info; super helpful.

      1. I know you recommended the latter in your ‘free Facebook traffic’ video but that was almost a year ago, so when setting up the Facebook page that you’ll be using to promote products, do you recommend using the brand of your store, or just a general niche page (e.g. for the dog niche the page might be called Dog Lovers USA or something)?

      2. You covered running page like ads on Facebook (a video would be great for this if you haven’t uploaded one already (I haven’t seen any on your channel apart from the somewhat related ‘free Facebook traffic’ video), how much content would you say we should have on our page before running these campaigns, and how often do you recommend we upload to the page?

      3. How would you recommend we go about connecting/communicating with similar Facebook pages in our niches to help gain traction?

Sorry for all the text.. Making a business plan atm so all this info would be super helpful. Thanks!

    4. 1) It’s not a huge deal if your content is consistent TBH. I think the latter is better for generating traffic on Facebook.

      2) Facebook ads are something I cover inside The Dropship Club, and not the channel. But in regards to your question, I would very much recommend having at least 10 posts 🙂 this goes hand-in-hand with running a like campaign. It gives you more authority/makes you look more legitimate, improving your conversions. In terms of posting content to it, if it’s there as just an excuse to run ads, once a week should be more than fine (you could definitely get away with not posting but it helps your legitimacy to post once a week). Otherwise, 1-3 times a day if you’re looking to get organic FB traffic.

      3) JVing is always a great idea. Reaching out to them via message, it’s as simple as that. Although make sure you have your offered prepped in-advance. I would be wary about purchasing FB post space. The conversions on those are not comparable to Instagram Shoutouts. If you’re looking to do something like that but on FB – I’d focus on Instagram instead. If you’re looking for traffic swaps though then there is no harm in that 🙂 just make sure you of course have something to offer in-return.

      Hope that helps!

    5. Wholesale Ted Hi, my question is, when testing products with facebook ads I normally do a promotion with them such as only pay shipping, 50% off etc. But what if I want to test more than my front item? How many items should I test at the same time without putting the whole shop to 50% off as that doesnt really seen legit to many people.

  1. Hi Sarah, I really appreciate your tutorials. Would you recommend one shipping disclaimer that basically states all shipping times by region? My supplier breaks it down by USA, Canada, Australia, International, etc so I could simply add their shipping breakdown to all of my product pages.

    1. If you’re using beginner-friendly countries, then I’d say 2-4 weeks for all of them, just to be safe. But you could create a country-specific shipping option for each country you ship to, just so that the customer feels they are receiving a more customized experience. That helps build trust between you and them 🙂 But otherwise, a 2-4 week general disclaimer is absolutely fine. Put 4 weeks as a safety buffer.

  2. Thank you so much for making videos about ecommerce. I was so lost and came across to your vidoes. Still new and waiting for that first sale but you definitely guided me through starting up my business and your videos are straight to the point, very informative and honest.

  3. Sarah, this video is super informative like always. Thank you for continuing to make these.
I might have some insight into the self stirring mugs selling on Amazon FBA. They’re most likely getting the products in bulk from Alibaba instead of AliExpress. On Alibaba you can get those same mugs for as low as $2. So they can sell them on Amazon for almost the same price as the AliExpress sellers and still make a profit.

    1. Yes, either that or they have negotiated with Aliexpress suppliers for low wholesale rates. It was more the point that if you buy individually/small quantities and try to sell on Amazon you won’t be making a profit. The profit margins for wholesale Aliexpress products are still razor thin though because FBA fees are HUGE!

  4. Hey Sarah, could you consider making a video on how to work things out when after testing several products, you find a winning product that will give you a lot of sales but then PayPal flags your store for security reasons since you start making more money than usual? How do you handle these things as a newbie? I think when you get in this situation you should be prepared enough but I honestly would not be,so i am really worried about this, because the goal for dropshippers is to find a winning product, but when PayPal holds your account for several weeks, then you are more than sunk because you and your customers get affected.Thank you for all your videos that help me and others to be able to start with dropshipping, I really appreciate your honesty (:

  5. Hi Sarah, thank you so much for such informative videos! May I ask one question that I can’t find an answer to anywhere: to start testing a product on Instagram (ads and/or influencers) and eventually on Facebook, shall I create a simple website (e.g.: a landing page), purchase a domain name and promote it? I guess yes BUT I often heard that a website is not needed in a testing phase (to avoid wasting money) so I’m confused to tell the truth… I also don’t understand the following: if it appears that my test failed and that I don’t want to sell a tested product anymore, what can I do with a domain name that I will no longer use? If I test 3 or 5 products per week that I will not sell, will I still have to create websites, pay for Shopify subscription each time (it will become expensive!) and purchase domain names? Can you help with this please? Thank you very much in advance. Oxana

  6. So pumped and ready to go for this, just hope this doesnt get saturated like other ecommerce opportunities and i can actually succeed in this venture like others who have done well before me, ive found my niche so im gonna give it a go!

  7. Thank you for the video Sarah! Could you please explain some of the benefits of forming a company for example: in Australia if a person is only dropshipping to the USA? Also is it possible to make the currency appear in its native form depending on the person’s country that is viewing the store? Thank you in advance!

  8. Thank you so much!! This is exactly what I was looking for. When I am ready I will definitely be back to you for help and training. You were honest and precise.

  9. looks like i was diving into dropshipping the wrong way. thanks for the insights. there’s a lot to learn and thanks for dedicating your time in producing this video.

  10. I actually love this channel so much your really break down the information and give us some good base knowledge I have learned so much for you and I’m on day 3. I know you have online courses but you don’t go on about it like all the others you simply give the info. I’m actually thinking about purchasing your course as it would be super useful !! X

  11. You’re videos are by far the greatest from all of the drop shipping gurus I’ve seen. You are very thorough with step by step direction and clear about the realities of drop shipping. Stay awesome!

  12. Sarah, I always appreciate all the information you share with us. I have a question in regards to doing business with companies in China. I have been researching using Ali Express, Bangood, DH Gate etc. At what point should I consider using the services of a middleman to act on my behalf, who would deal with the companies in regards to getting me the best deals on products, verify the quality and handle shipping? The items I am considering selling are all related to outdoor living and recreation. I am talking about solar panels, turbines, controls etc for off grid living in an rv. Any comments good and bad would be sincerely appreciated

  13. I’m making a start in e-commerce; I’ve recently come across your videos. I must say.. well done! Your videos are by far the clearest and most concise I’ve come across to date. I hope to learn more from you in the near future.. keep up the good work! Thank you.

  14. This was fabulous. I’ve been binging your videos all week and I can’t tell you how trustworthy your presence is. This is the only channel that I can sit down and watch a video all the way through and then want to watch 2 more. There’s no ego involved, you get right to the point and you find the right time to quickly plug your ebook and course. It’s clear that you value time like you always say and you pair it with action in the structure of your videos. Quite literally the only channel that I’ve ever found myself realising that I didn’t hit the like button and then going into the history tab to access the video just so I could like it. You are appreciated!

  15. Hey Sarah, question about creating a company for drop shipping. If I’m looking to create multiple websites for each niche and these websites will all have a specific, different name based on the category I’m selling…. how does that pair with the company? As in, can I have sub categories in my company or do I need to create multiple companies? Do you have multiple websites for each niche or just one large website that contains everything, just well organized?

  16. Hi. Thanks for this great video. The question is simple and maybe a bit trivial, but it’s the first thing I thought before starting a dropshipping business: why should a user pay on my website for the same product more expensive instead of buying it directly on Aliexpress for example? What more can I offer?
