I have a question. I follow a lot of different artists online. Most of which have said/infrenced that im not a “real artist” because I wanted to tryout ai image generation. They say it is stealing from other artists to create the images. Now I feel horrible that im even interested in anything ai related. I don’t want to steal from them. But how am i supposed to know if any of these programs are ethical/ok to use. Idk where they pull their data from. Idk how they are legal if that is really what is going on. I feel torn because yea id love to participate in this new technology but not at the expense of other people. On one hand its just a tool, But at what cost. But at the same time I’m not making any money from any “original art” that I’ve made. Like I see an opportunity for making awesome pictures and other things that might actually sell, but i feel hated for admitting that I want to use it/try it out. Im wrong for being curious and taking advantage of an awesome opportunity. I can’t help but feel conflicted about all this. And meanwhile I stay broke because I’m “not allowed” to participate. Damned if i do, dammed if i dont.

As a non-coder GPT has changed my life literally. This new addition just makes it that much easier for everyone to enhance their lives and create more of the most precious commodity we own and that is “Time” ..love watching your vids not only for content but to remind me of NZ 🙂

I cannot wait to get my hands on the upgraded ChatGPT and Dall-e 3, I signed up almost a week ago to their waiting list and still waiting, but I recently heard a rumour about how they won't be accepting any new sign ups now.. but that just sounds strange, do you know anything about this or have an idea of how long they may take?
