Actually if you don’t have a healthy body, money means a lot.
You will care every day you are alive regardless of your age or health. This is such a crazy misperception!
I’m a healthcare professional, the only people that “don’t care” are some with advanced dementia, but their spouses and kids will still care. Being poor in old age is actually worse, because you can’t fix it.

No male in our family ever lived past 83 including 5 uncles, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather. I surely will not live past them if you use and look at the actuarial tables.

I can predict when everyone’s life and if I’m right you got to pay me a $2. If I’m wrong you only have to pay $1. You will die when you stop living. This job is killing me. If I don’t get out of here soon the damage is going to be too much to recover from. 50% chance you will die before 80years of age.
