In reply to @okaydamian. Agreed, I once downplayed the role of financial experts until suffering 40% portfolio loss amid lockdown in 2020. At once, I found an advisor with grit, helped to revamp my portfolio, and as of today, I'm only 25% short of $1m after subsequent investments.

I’m pondering about retirement as of late, unsure if my 401(k) and IRA will provide a stable future, so I put $250K into the stock market, but not certain about the market too. All I need is a fundamental strategy that will align with my risk tolerance and retirement goal of $2m.

I’m good. My SS of $3,800/mo covers all monthly expenses with some leftover. I won’t need to touch my retirement accounts until RMDs begin and will simply consist of a transfer from my IRA to my brokerage account. BTW, I am a Jazz client 😉
