* Examples & case studies of businesses that I enjoy (such as Print On Demand ecommerce businesses) and sharing my tips & strategies I've learned along the way.
* Examples & case studies of other businesses that entrepreneurs love running (even if I personally wouldn't find it fun myself!)
* Plus a sprinkle of entrepreneurial motivation thrown in too!

I hope my actionable content can help you: whether you're running your own online business, or are in the process of building one, and want some tactical advice to help you along the way. If that is you, subscribe today! 🔥

  1. Hey Sara. Love your work and effort in delivering the right info at the right time.
    My question to you is, is there a way to get etsy to work in Jamaica?

  2. Definitely appreciate these videos. My issue, personally when trying any print on demand “side hustle”, is the getting it out there. It’s easy to dissappear among the crowd on platforms like Etsy. I’d like to see more content on HOW to get people to actually view and hopefully purchase your products.

    1. When I start a new store, that main way that I “get out there” and get seen are:
      1) Identifying underserved niches AND subniches (so take one of these niches – and look for subniches within it)
      2) Creating the best design/s in those niches
      Getting SEO (search engine) traffic is really about getting a high conversion. These platforms will give new listings a chance to be seen. They do that because it’s in their interests to have new products succeed and new stores to succeed by testing impressions on them. Make the most of the test impressions they give you, to get a good CTR.

    2. I have the same issue! The product can be popular, but what does it take to get it in front of qualified customers? Perhaps Etsy ads?

    3. Etsy ads are actually a good investment, if you do have the money to spend. They are cheap (compared to other forms of advertising), do often have good returns, and very beginner-friendly to use. However, in the beginning of your store, they will be less effective since you still need to build up authority. I would not expect a profit from them in the beginning, but to see them as a long-term investment. That’s not to say they can’t immediately be profitable, they can, but for most people, they probably wouldn’t be.

  3. My New Zealand accent translation for those of you that are new here 🤭
    Itsey = Etsy
    Riaction = Reaction
    Trindy = Trendy
    What other ones did I miss? 😜

    1. “Sort it out”? I am sorry but I report every single account, and every single time, IG tells me in an automated reply that their automated system has determined the account isn’t breaking any rules, that they won’t remove it, and that there is no way to appeal the decision. And they even allow those accounts to block me, which stops me from being even able to attempt to report them in the first place. When you say to me, “sort it out” – what can I do? I am greatly upset by those accounts, but I can’t control what IG does, I can’t control that they allow this to happen, I am sorry, but I honestly don’t know what else I can do 🙏

  4. As always, thank you for your work and information in your videos! By the way, I made my first sale on Etsy (Yay!) but didn’t price the product properly and ended up losing money (Boo!). Live and learn, huh? 😀

    1. Congratulations on your first sale! That’s what matters. Change your price and keep doing what you are doing. The first few sales are the hardest, once buyers see you have sales, your conversion rate drastically increases, so it’s great you have your first sale under your belt 🙏

  5. Hellow Sara,
    I have a shop on redubbble, but I didi not get any sales until now
    I hope that my store will be reviewed by a professional like you. I also hope to get some advice to identify my mistakes and follow up on my work well.
    Can I add the name of my shop through the comments on this video??

    1. You absolutely can. If I do a store review video, I look for stores that have been posted in the comments. Although I only review stores, if I do a store review video. I’d also recommend watching this video, if you haven’t already: https://youtu.be/A-bQFXWppoA

  6. Very informative, Sarah. Sellers could make a YouTube, or TikTok [both actually] short, with a QR code at the end. One short for each product. Then ask their friends to like and subscribe. Then drill deep into FB etc groups.

  7. Awesome!! Thanks again Sarah!! Still waiting for a recent shirt tutorial research niche and design in Canva-maybe kittl…love your tutorial videos!!!!! Miss them!!

    1. Thank you I appreciate that! I got quite a lot of comments saying that people thought I made too many of those, so I do appreciate the support 🙏

    2. @Wholesale Ted well as the saying goes-“that’s not your audience to worry about and if they didn’t like them -as on any social platform they can just “ keep scrolling 😂 I know myself and MANY more LOVE them! You are always making us laugh with your humor and during you give so much valuable information for us newbies and your shirt designs are always on trend!! I’m not sure what they wanted you to do, but as a POD beginner it’s so valuable for someone like you that’s experienced and qualified to show us how to research, niche down, find trends, evergreens and once we do-how to use the products and a fast scaleable workflow. Now that sounds like I know how to do all of that, but I am just getting the jist of how to do so, but I’m still slow and the more videos I can learn from the faster I can get to my goals and I know you sincerely are trying to help us do that with tutorials on how to design with Canva, Kittl, AI, ect and many POD products! So, if nothing else for all us who love you and respect you/your channel listen to our requests and let the other troll on by!!

  8. Great thanks for your videos, just want to leave my 9-6 …
    Hope I will be able to make it one day! Awesome ideas!

  9. I’ve done designs for a niche and people like them but want their pets on the design (customized) but as I’m not able to afford a secondary shop platform I only using Redbubble and customizing is problematic there.
    Does having an account with Printful require a shopfront to have an item printed for yourself? In other words could I do a design on an item on Printful, and just have customer pay me direct and I add shipping details to them and pay Printful myself? I know you need a secondary shop platform for displaying/advertising/external orders.

  10. Hi Sarah, I love your videos. Can you talk about. Customer service, how you handle customers complains? Thank you ❤

  11. Hi Smiley Sarah, many of these print on demand variations are personalised, so not only automated including buyer proof approval, so they have very low return rates, ( except damages ) right ?

    1. Most Yt sellers make their money affiliate marketing; all the rest, ie YT, insta, etsy, shopify are only vehicles to increase their affiliate shares and clicks. Very few actually make any substantial income from product sales.

    2. Some are personalised but many are not. I am personally someone that would rather earn smaller profits and have a design that can be sold in an automated way, but many of my viewers would prefer the higher margins, and so I am happy to discuss them as an option. You can always automate it with virtual assistants, especially as the profit margins are so high! But yes, usually the return rate is very low, since it is standard to not offer returns for change of mind for personalised products. It would just be returns for faulty items.

  12. What sites can you use to start out print on demand if you don’t have any money to put up front? As in you don’t have the money to cover the initial cost of whatever the product is that they buy, until you get reimbursed.. are there any platforms that actually cover all of the cost where you don’t have to have a little bit setback? I don’t have any money to actually invest in starting a print on demand business, That’s the only part holding me back now. Any info would be greatly greatly appreciated.
